A very fine Italian violin made by Evasio Emilio Guerra in Turin in 1951, as indicated on original label. Guerra was a superb master with great skills and talent. He was definitely one of the best and most interesting makers of 20th century. This is a wonderful example made with inspiration of Giovanni Francesco Pressenda model. It is in exceptionally fine state of preservation. The sound is of a superb quality, mature, brilliant with excellent projection, suitable for a solo performer. The length over the back is 35.4 cm.
