A fine French violin bow made by Justin Poirson, ca.1890. This is excellent example from J. Poirson, who was a pupil of great Nicolas Maire. The stick is dark red brown pernambuco, the frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 72.9 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g. This bow produce a wonderful quality tone and handles excellent. We recommend this article as a great value for a quite moderate investment price range.
