A very fine Italian violin by Sesto Rocchi, 1974.

A very fine Italian violin made by Sesto Rocchi in 1974, as indicated on the label. Sesto Rocchi was a superb master who acquired over 17 international competition awards. He was a pupil of Bisiach and Sgarabotto. This is a wonderful example made perhaps with inspiration of Nicola Amati large pattern model. It is in exceptionally fine state of preservation. The sound of this instrument is clear, even, powerful with a wonderful timbre and brilliance, suitable for a solo performer. The length over the back is 35.6 cm
