A very fine old French violin bow made by Prosper Colas for Joseph Hel ca. 1900. This is a nice example in excellent state of preservation. The stick is dark brown pernambuco, round, strong with a fine flexibility, good balance and excellent tonal quality. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow is 60 g. We recommend this item to a musician with the preference for a 19th century fine French bows as a very good value in a moderate price range.
