A very fine French violin bow made by Francois Peccatte ca. 1850. F. Peccatte was important French master of the 19th century. This is a beautiful example in excellent state of preservation. The stick is red brown amourette of superior choice, round, strong with excellent tone and fine handling. The frog and button are ebony with nickel-silver mountings. The weight of the bow is 62 g and the length of the stick is 73 cm.
