French cello bow made by Charles Peccatte in Paris circa 1875.
A very fine French cello bow made by Charles Peccatte in Paris c. 1875. This is a firm, excellent sounding and handling example. The lenght of the stick is 69.8cm and the weight of the bow is 72 g. This fine bow was missing about 7 mm of original wood on the head from the side of the head plate. That part was added back by Isaac Salchow, so it is brought up back to original shape. Besides that restoration, the stick is in a very fine condition.
This bow is certified by Isaac Salchow in New York.
