French cello bow made by Prosper Colas, ca. 1900

A very fine French cello bow made by Prosper Colas ca. 1900, branded “PROSPER COLAS A PARIS”. This is excellent sounding and handling cello bow in a very good state of preservation. The stick is red brown pernambuco, round, 68.8 cm long, the weight of the bow is 73 g. The frog and button are ebony and silver.
