A fine French violin bow made by Joseph Gaude ca. 1840. Joseph Gaude was working with E. Pajeot and in the style of the master. This is a very fine example of Gaude work. It is in a excellent state of preservation. The sound and handling of this bow is of high level, suitable for a demanding musician seeking high quality 19th century French bow . The length of the stick is 71.8 cm and the weight of the bow is 60 g. this bow is certified by J.f Raffin, Y. Le Canu and S. Bigot.
