French violoncello bow made in the style of J.J. Martin, branded ca.1870.
A fine French cello bow made in the style of J.J. Martin ca. 1870, branded “VUILLAUME A PARIS”. The stick is red pernambuco, round in shape. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 70 cm and the weight of the bow is 75 g. This is excellent, strong cello bow with a high level sound and handling. The bow is in very fine state of preservation.
