A very fine German violin bow made by Carl Henrich Knopf ca. 1870 with inspiration of beautiful Dodd model, branded “DODD” to the frog. Carl Heinrich Knopf was one of the greatest German bow makers. He made some wonderful bows for important shops of Bausch family and Nikolai Kittel. This is excellent example in a very good state of preservation, also a high level playing bow. The length of the stick is 72.8 cm and the weight of the bow is 60 g.
