A very fine German violin bow made by Johann Wilhelm Knopf ca. 1875 for the firm of W.E. Hill and branded so on the stick. This is excellent and rare (with this brand) example of the maker’s work in a fine state of preservation. This is also a first class, wonderful sounding and handling bow, suitable for a very fine and demanding musician or a collector. The length of the stick is 72.9 cm and the weight of the bow is 58.5 g.
