Italian cello, Giuseppe Fiorini, 1887.
A very fine cello by Giuseppe Fiorini made in his partnership with Andreas Rieger in 1887, as it is indicated by the original makers label. This is a wonderful instrument in a fine state of preservation made on excellent personal model, probably inspired by the work of Stradivari. The proportions and flatter arching are very beautiful and great for comfortable playing, also high level tonal quality. The length over the back is 74.6 cm. The varnish is red on top of golden ground and is of a fine texture. This wonderful instrument is ready to play and recommended to a fine musician.
