French certified viola bow by Jerome Thibouville-Lamy, ca. 1900

A fine French viola bow made by Jerome Thibouville-Lamy ca. 1900. This is a fine sounding and handling example in a good state of preservation with some wear from playing. The stick is excellent dark red brown pernambuco, round, strong with good balance and very beautiful, elegant sound. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow is 70 g.
