French viola bow by F. Lotte, 1950

A very fine French viola bow made by F. Lotte for Charles Enel ca. 1950, branded “CH ENEL-PARIS” on the stick above the frog. The stick is red brown pernambuco, octagonal, strong with a fine balance and beautiful, vibrant sound. The frog is ebony and silver, the button is ebony with a silver cap. This bow is in very good condition. The length of the stick is 72.9 cm and the weight is 68 g.
