French violin bow by Justin Poirson, ca.1915

A fine French violin bow made by Justin Poirson, ca.1915. This is a nice example from J. Poirson, who was a pupil of great Nicolas Maire. The stick is orange brown pernambuco, round.The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73.3 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g. This is a fine sounding example in excellent state of preservation.
