French violin bow by L.Bazin, ca.1945-1950.
A fine French violin bow made by L. Bazin ca.1945-1950. This is a good example of the maker’s later period work, also excellent sounding and handling violin bow in a very fine state of preservation with retaining original winding. The stick is red brown pernambuco, round, strong with excellent sound and very nice handling. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73.3 cm and the weight of the bow is 61.5 g. We highly recommend this excellent bow to a fine player seeking a quality article in moderate price range.
