French violin bow made by M. Lapierre, c. 1960.

A very fine French violin bow made by M. Lapierre ca. 1960. This is a nice example in a very fine state of preservation, all original including the winding and grip. Lapierre made some wonderful bows in the style of E.A. Ouchard. This strong influence formed from close collaboration in 1946 between these fine makers. The length of the stick is 73.2 cm and the weight of the bow is 60 g. It is excellent playing bow with easy and effortless handling.

Certificates: J.F. Raffin, Le Canu, Bigot
