Fine French violin bow made by Prosper Colas, ca. 1900

A very fine French violin bow made by Prosper Colas ca. 1900, branded on the stick above the frog. This is excellent sounding and handling violin bow in mint, unpolished and unused state of preservation with original winding and grip. The stick is red brown pernambuco, round, 72.9 cm long, the weight of the bow is 60 g. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. This wonderful bow is highly recommended to a fine musician or a demanding collector.
