German baroque style violin bow, H.R. Pfretzschner

A fine German baroque style violin bow made by Pfretzschner, branded on the stick and frog. This is a nice example in excellent state of preservation, also a fine playing bow with a wonderful tone and great handling. The stick is medium brown pernambuco, round in shape, beautifully made. The frog and button are ebony. The length of the stick is 66.5 cm and the weight is 49 g.
