German violin bow by Franz Albert Nurnberger, ca. 1925

A very fine German violin bow made ca. 1925 by Franz Albert Nurnberger jun., branded on the stick above the frog. This is excellent playing bow and one of the beautiful examples in a very good state of preservation. The stick is golden brown pernambuco of superior quality, round, strong with excellent flexibility, fine balanced/handling and a wonderful sound. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g.
