A fine Italian violin made by Amedeo Somonazzi in 1943, as indicated on original label. This is a superb example from gifted pupil of Stefano Scarampella made on Scarampella model. The instrument is in excellent state of preservation. It has a wonderful tonal quality, suitable for a fine and demanding musician. Highly recommended to a fine player or a collector as a rare, exceptional example from this maker.
