French violin bow by Charles Louis Bazin, ca. 1945.

A fine French violin bow made by Charles Louis Bazin ca. 1945, branded “VANELLI” to the stick on top of the frog. This is a nice example in excellent (like new), also a fine sounding and handling bow. The stick is dark red brown pernambuco of superior choice, the frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 72.7 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g (with an original, light winding and leather grip). This nice bow is recommended to a serious musician seeking a nice bow in a moderate price range.
