A very fine French violin bow made by Pierre Simon ca. 1860. This is a fine example made with inspiration of late F.X. Tourte model. The stick is golden-brown pernambuco, round, strong with a fine flexibility excellent sound and handling. The frog is ebony with silver mountings. The button is ebony with two silver rings. The length of the stick is 72.6 cm. The weight of the bow is 58 g.
