French violin made by Ch. J.B. Collin-Mezin Pere ca. 1909. The violin is a nice interpretation of the Stradivari 1716 “Messiah” model. This is a very beautiful example in excellent condition (came with an original set up and gut strings). The length over the back is 35.8 cm. Instruments made by this maker are well known for their excellent sound with a broad range of colors, strong carrying power and ease of playability. This instrument is suitable for a fine and demanding professional musician.
