A very fine German violin bow made by Otto A. Hoyer circa 1925, branded “OTTO HOYER PARISER”.  This is a wonderful example from this excellent maker who was (according with his family history) working for Eugene Sartory in Paris from 1911 to 1913. The stick is red brown pernambuco of superior choice and figuration, round in shape, 73.3 cm long. the frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The weight of the bow with very light original tinsel winding is 59g. This bow is in very fine state of preservation and highly recommended to a fine and demanding musician seeking a wonderful bow in a moderate price range.
