A rare, outstanding Italian violin made by Giorgio Serafin in Venice ca. 1750. This is a wonderful instrument from highly esteemed school and period in a fine state of preservation, retaining most of original varnish. The lenght over the back is 35.3 cm. This elegant but very powerful instrument with excellent arching possessing truly superb tone, suitable and recommended for leader of the orchestra or a soloist.
