A very fine Italian violin made by Stefano Scarampella in 1909 in Mantova with inspiration of a superb Balestrieri model. This is one of the finest examples from this great Italian master. The instrument is magnificently made with the mastership of a true artist. Regardless of younger age comparing with best older Italian makers, this masterpiece makes an impression of a classical era. The instrument is suitable for solo performer. The length over the back is 35.75 cm.
