Italian violin made by Raffaele Calace c. 1910 in Naples.

A very good Italian violin made by Raffaele Calace circa 1910 in Naples, as indicated by the label it bears. This is a beautiful and interesting example in a very fine, pure, all original state of preservation. The instruments is covered with an attractive reddish-brown unpolished varnish. The lenght over the back is 35.4 cm. The sound is excellent, rich, colorful, even, powerful with typical Neapolitan charm and character. We highly recommend this violin as a wonderful “full package” instrument in this price range with surprisingly mature, soloist type of voice.
