French violin bow by Joseph Gaude, 1845
A rare French violin bow by Joseph Gaude made ca. 1845. Joseph Gaude was working with E. Pajeot and in the style of the master. This is a fine example of Gaude work. It is in excellent state of preservation. This bow, been strong, has a fine flexibility, exceptional balance and tonal quality, suitable for a soloist. The length of the stick is 73.4 cm and the weight of the bow is 58 g.
