A rare, very fine French violin bow made by Etienne Pajeot circa 1840. This is a superb example of the maker’s work in excellent condition. The stick is orange-brown pernambuco of superior choice, round, strong with excellent flexibility, crisp handling and outstanding, solo level tonal quality. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow with very light tinsel winding is 56 g.
