French violin bow made by Jean Adam & Jean-Dominique Adam, ca 1830

A superb, rare French violin bow made by Jean Adam and Jean-Dominique Adam ca. 1830. This is a very nice example in a fine state of preservation. This is also excellent sounding example with a very special, rich tone and natural handling that is present only in finest French bows of the first half of 19th century. The length of the stick is 72.7 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g.
