A rare, very fine, old Italian violin made by Guarneri, Giuseppe “filius Andrea” in Cremona. This is a superb masterpiece in a very fine state of preservation, covered with all original, spectacular quality golden brown varnish. Regardless of a smaller 7/8 size the instrument has a normal stop length of 19.4 cm. The sound is of a marvelous character with a superb projection power that is typical for a 1st rank Cremonese instruments.
