A very fine French viola bow made by Charles Joseph Théodore Guinot ca. 1845. This is a strong, very fine sounding and handling viola bow. The stick is excellent quality red brown amourette, the original frog and button are ebony with nickel mountings. It is in a fine state of preservation. The length of the stick is 73 cm, the weight of the bow is 69 g.
