French violin bow by Francois Lotte, c. 1950, Lupot model.
A very fine French violin bow made by F. Lotte with inspiration of Lupot model ca. 1950, branded “LUPOT”. The stick is red brown pernambuco, round, strong with a nice flexibility, good balance and excellent sound. The frog is ebony and nickel silver, the button is ebony with a silver cap. This bow is in very good condition, ready to play with a new top quality silver winding, hair and grip. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight is 56 g with light and original tinsel winding. This bow will come with certificates of authenticity from Alex Gartsman and J.F. Raffin.
