A very fine French violin bow made by Joseph Alfred Lamy Pere, ca. 1890. This is a nice, characteristic example from a highly sought after by musicians and collectors, significant figure in French bow making school. The bow is in a very pure, excellent state of preservation. This bow has a wonderful, warm, brilliant sound, typical for some fine French bows of 19th century. The length of the stick is 73.1 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g.
