French violin bow by Louis Gillet, ca. 1950

A very fine French violin bow made by Louis Gillet ca. 1950. This is a wonderful bow in a fine condition. The stick is influenced by Peccatte model. It is made of spectacularly flamed pernambuco, octagonal, strong with some excellent flexibility and a first class handling. The frog is ebony and silver, the button is ebony with silver cap. Highly recommended for a fine player with a solo approach.

Certificates: Isaac Salchow, New York
