French violin bow by Nicolas Maline, ca. 1860

A very fine French violin bow made by Nicolas Maline ca. 1860. The stick is red brown pernambuco, the frog is ebony with nickel mountings, the button is ebony and nickel. This is a good example and very nice sounding/handling violin bow, suitable for a fine musician. The length of the stick is 73.2 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g.
