A very fine French violin bow made by Barthelemy Simon for J.B. Vuillaume, ca. 1860, branded “VUILLAUME A PARIS”. This is excellent, high level bow, suitable for a fine musician. The stick is dark red brown pernambuco of excellent choice, round, strong with a perfect flexibility, top level tonal quality and handling. The length of the stick is 72.4 cm and the weight is of the bow is 60 g. The bow is certified by Isaac Salchow in New York.
