French violin bow made by Louis Joseph Morizot Pere ca. 1930
A very fine French violin bow made by Louis Joseph Morizot Pere ca. 1930. We appreciate bows made by this master very much for their personal style and excellent tone that they produce. This is one of the best examples in perfect state of preservation. The stick is golden brown pernambuco of magnificent quality and figuration, the frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. It is also one of the best sounding examples, strong, with powerful, soloist kind of sound with great elegance and superb handling. This bow can satisfy a very demanding collector or a very fine musician. The length of the stick is 73.1 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g.
