French violin made by H.C. Silvestre in Paris 1888, as indicated on the original label, branded to the upper block and to the center of the back. Another label is indicating winning of the 1st price for this instrument in 1889 Paris competition. The violin is in immaculate condition, possessing a very fine sound. The lenght over the back is 35.7 cm.
