German violin bow, A. Nurnberger, c. 1950

A very fine German violin bow made by Carl Albert Nurnberger c. 1950. This is exceptionally beautiful example in all original including winding, pristine state of preservation. The stick is beautiful golden orange pernambuco, octagonal, strong with a perfect flexibility, excellent balance and handling. The frog and button are ebony with silver mountings. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow with very light and original tinsel winding is 54 g. This is a great example and a superb sounding bow made to perfection in every little detail. This bow is highly recommended to a very fine musician or a demanding collector.
