German violin bow by Heinrich Knopf ca.1865

A very fine German violin bow made by Heinrich Knopf for Ludwig Christian August Bausch ca. 1865, branded under the frog “L. BAUSCH”. Heinrich Knopf was one of the greatest German bow makers. This is a nice bow with excellent handling and a wonderful sound. The length of the stick is 73.3 cm and the weight of the bow is 59g.
