German violin bow by Hermann Richard Pfretzschner, ca. 1905
A very fine German violin bow made by Hermann Richard Pfretzschner ca. 1905. This is a superb and one of the most beautiful examples based on Tubbs model (that recalls early Tourte model). The choice of pernambuco is superior to observe as well as for playing characteristics and tone. The length of the stick is 73 cm and the weight of the bow is 60 g. The bow is in excellent state of preservation. It is highly recommended to a fine player or a collector.
