Italian violin by Evasio Emilio Guerra, 1932

A very fine Italian violin made by Evasio Emilio Guerra in Turin in 1932, as indicated on original label. Guerra was a superb master with great skills and talent. He was definitely one of the best and most interesting makers of 20th century. This is one of the finest examples that we have seen. The instruments is made on a wonderful J.B. Guadagnini model. The sound is remarkably beautiful, brilliant, mature, powerful, suitable for a solo performer. L.O.B. is 35.4 cm.
