Italian violin by Giulio Degani, 1906, Venice
A very fine Italian violin made by Giulio Degani in 1906 in Venice, as indicated on the original label. This is a superb instrument and very fine example of the maker’s work from highly esteemed period. The violin is in a perfect, pristine state of preservation. The sound of this instrument is of a first class, just like wonderful appearance, soft golden orange varnish and excellent model with a very beautiful arching. The length over the back is 35.5 cm.
