Italian violin by Giulio Degani, 1916
A very fine Italian violin made by Giulio Degani in 1916 in Venice, as indicated on the original signed label. This is a very beautiful instrument and a fine example of the maker’s work probably made with an inspiration of classical old Venetian Domenico Montagnana model. The violin is in excellent state of preservation. The sound of this instrument is of a first class level, deep, warm, even, clear and focused with easy response and a charming character. The length over the back is 35.7 cm.
Certificates: Alex Gartsman.
