Italian violin by Valentino De Zorzi, 1901
A fine Italian violin made by Valentino De Zorzi in Florence 1901, as indicated on the original label, also branded inside and outside in multiple places. This is a very beautiful instrument and a fine example of the maker’s work inspired probably by a beautiful (low arching) Giovanni Battista Gabrielli model. The violin is in very pure state of preservation still retaining an original neck, bridge and pegs. The length over the back is 35.7 cm.
