Italian violin by Valentino De Zorzi, 1901
A very fine Italian violin made by Valentino De Zorzi in Florence in 1901, as indicated on the original label, also branded inside and outside in multiple places. This is a very beautiful instrument and a fine example of the maker’s work based on a suprb model of Giovanni Battista Gabrielli. The violin is in excellent state of preservation still retaining an original neck, bridge and pegs. The sound of this instrument is of a fine level, colorful, deep and mature. The length over the back is 35.7 cm.
