French violin bow made by Charles Nicolas Bazin, ca. 1885.
A very fine old French violin bow made by Charles Nicolas Bazin, ca. 1885. This is a very beautiful example, superb sounding bow in a fine sate of preservation. The stick is dark red brown pernambuco of superior choice, round, strong with a good balance, first class sound and handling. The length of the stick is 72.7 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g. Highly recommended as a wonderful bow in a moderate price range.
