French violin bow made by Joseph Arthur Vigneron Pere, ca. 1895

A very fine old French violin bow made by Joseph Arthur Vigneron Pere, ca. 1895. We greatly appreciate the work of this master and think that he is one of very few from the period who has archived a rare balance between strength and flexibility, also a fantastic tonal results with equally wonderful handling. This is a beautiful article, also excellent playing bow with all original parts. This bow came from France and been used by a fine professional musician, so it has some wear and small restoration on top of the handle. The length of the stick is 72.6 cm and the weight of the bow is 59 g. It is highly recommended to a fine and demanding musician who is looking for a moderate price range article with a superb sound and handling.
