Italian violin by Giuseppe Fiorini, Bologna, 1884
A very fine, rare Italian violin made by Giuseppe Fiorini in 1884 in Bologna, also numbered 156 on the original label. This is a superb concert instrument in excellent state of preservation. This violin possess a marvelous tonal quality with depth, maturity and verity of wonderful colors. The length over the back is 35.6 cm. This instrument is illustrated in the book “The modern Italian violin makers” by D. Gindin (page 59).
